Nonghyup Korea Insam plans to increase the current ginseng business proportion of 7.6 percent to 34 percent in 2009 among the total businesses of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation. To do so, we will manage planned districts for ginseng growing by surveying soil and manage production history data through contract cultivation. Also, we will launch a global grand strategy to make "HANSAMIN", the common brand for all Nonghyup Korea Insam products, prestigious around the world.

Considering this trend, we have focused on research and development of ginseng products that meet the consumer's needs under the strategy that high quality is the strongest competitive factor. We also have strengthened research and development in order to produce high-quality products by enhancing quality control and revamping the production system since Korea's Health Functional Food Act was implemented in June 2004.
